14th Annual Mudbug Bash

Enjoy all the crawfish and trimmings you can eat, samplings from local restaurants and silent auction from 6pm-11pm.

Mudbug Bash has truly become one of the premier events in the DeSoto County. It is a festive Southern-styled outdoor event filled with great food, libations, live music and the spirit of hope. Each year a record number of guests fill the streets of downtown Hernando in celebration of the rescue and restoration of children.

Mudbug Bash benefits the Palmer Home for Children, a non-profit organization providing stable homes for children with inadequate family structure.  Mudbug Bash is the area’s largest event raising nearly a half a million dollars for Palmer Home for Children since its inception. Sponsorship and gifts to the organization is tax deductible.

The event takes place on Panola Street, beside the Community Foundation.
