Backyard Bash

My Big Backyard, the beloved children’s discovery garden enjoyed by more than 77,000 guests each year, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2019. To commemorate the milestone, we are hosting an inaugural event that will help renew and sustain the outdoor space.

On September 21st, Memphis Botanic Garden will host two events.

First, a daytime family-friendly birthday party in the My Big Backyard garden with nature crafts, activities and treats

That evening, with an expected attendance of 350, an adults-only fundraising event will feature live music, local food, open bar, LIVE football streaming, backyard games and a silent auction, all with a fun, outdoor birthday party feel.

Funds raised will help support ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the current My Big Backyard spaces, as well as construction of future projects and educational activities and exhibits.

Join us in keeping My Big Backyard fun, safe, nurturing, creative, and refreshed, ensuring families can enjoy it for years to come.

Backyard Bash Tickets – $75

Host Couple Ticket Package – $250

We invite you to become a host at this event for $250.  Not only will your commitment help ensure success of the event, but funds raised will help support ongoing mission, maintenance and upkeep of the current My Big Backyard spaces, as well as construction of future projects and educational activities and exhibits.  Your sponsorship entitles you to a family admission to the daytime birthday party on September 21st and a couple admission package of two tickets to the evening event from 7-10 pm.

Convenience Fees will apply. There are no member discounts for this event as this is a fundraiser.
