MLK50: BEYOND THE BALCONY OPENING RECEPTION
The MLK50 Commemoration asked the question, “Where Do We Go From Here” and Art Village Gallery director and curator, Sheila Urevbu responded. Opening Friday, March 30 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm on Trolley Night, Beyond the Balcony is a ground breaking exhibition that will feature artwork by seven local, national and international artists focusing on a deeply powerful theme of ascending above and beyond the past (“Beyond the Balcony” – Where do we go from here?”). Join us to welcome the visiting artists to Memphis and to experience the moving exhibition first hand.
