WHAT: Wine Down for BizTown, presented by Junior Achievement’s Young Professionals Board

ABOUT THE EVENT: The first-ever Wine Down for BizTown event will feature blind wine tasting, silent auction, food, music, prizes and giveaways! All attendees must be 21 and older to participate. Event proceeds benefit K-12 students throughout the Mid-South region who participate in Junior Achievement’s educational programs focused on workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

WHEN: Friday, June 15, 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm (team check-in ends at 6:30 pm; wine tasting is from 6:45 pm – 8:30 pm. Silent auction and food will be accessible upon arrival.

WHERE: Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South at 307 Madison Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Register as a team of one, two, or three individuals.
2. As a team, bring three of the same bottles of wine – whatever suits your taste and budget!
3. Two of those three bottles will be blind tasted and voted on by you and others throughout the night. The remaining bottle will be set aside for the winning wine owner’s grand prize!
4. Enjoy food, music, bid on silent auction items, and sip the night away.
5. Feel great knowing that your participation in Wine Down for BizTown will help motivate hundreds of students throughout the Mid-South to stay in school, inspire them to make a difference in their community, teach them about financial responsibility, and give them hope for the future.
