The 100 Women Who Care meeting was recently held and sponsored by Hollie Winter Fine Jewelry. The “giving circle” awards a donation to a local non-profit. The recipient of the $12,000 donation raised was Memphis Inner City Rugby. MICR was founded by teachers and is led by coaches. Their goal is to leverage rugby as an engagement tool. They believe experience-based learning is largely missing from our modern education pedagogy and is one of the most powerful ways we can invest our kids in the pursuit of brighter futures.
