Science of Wine

The Science of Wine, held at MoSH, was a party for the palate and the study of science as wine and food pairings were enjoyed by all! Guests enjoyed delicious fare from local restaurants and wines from vineyards from around the country while discovering which wines pair best with which foods, and why. Part of the science included learning some of the fundamental components of the wines, including the importance of acidity, fermentation, yeast, carbon dioxide, alcohol, sugar, and tannins. A commemorative wine glass was given to attendees as a memento of this fun evening that raised money to support MoSH’s programs and activities for area students.
