It was a spectacular evening of fashion as Memphis’ own rising talent gathered at the Brooks Museum of Art for Art & Fashion: Runway at the Museum! More than 30 fashion designers and wearable art creators showcased their designs in conjunction with the Christian Siriano: People Are People exhibit on display at the Brooks through August 4. The inaugural event was a unique collaboration between the University of Memphis Fashion Program, the U of M Art and Design, and the Brooks. Lauren Draffin and Sonin Myatt were at the helm of the event, which featured creations by students that were fascinating and fabulous.
