The Baptist Cancer Center-DeSoto hosted its annual art exhibit recently during Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and the featured artist is Bob Olson, a colon cancer survivor. A reception was on March 21 to celebrate his art and good health. Bob is a very talented artist who began painting landscapes in the 1980s. He has continued to grow and develop his skill with new techniques including “fluid art,” which was featured in this recent exhibit. The show contains 40 pieces of art and will remain on permanent display thanks to his generous donation.
