The National Kidney Foundation Serving West Tennessee hosted the annual Gift of Life Gala March 25 at the Peabody Hotel. The elegant evening featured the Gift of Life award, which is given annually to individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution in the field of nephrology and/or transplantation. This year, the gala honored Dr. Alfred P. Kraus, Jr., Nephrology Services Medical Group and Gayatri Jaishankar, MSW, MHA, Senior Director & Transplant Administrator, Methodist Transplant Institute. kidney.org
