At a beautiful black-tie dinner, members of Carnival Memphis' Mystic Society of the Memphi, family, and friends celebrated Memphi's 2018 Ouro (aka King), Paul Matthews, and his wife, Sue. The lovely dinner celebrated Paul, and many of the speakers spoke about Paul's community service and accomplishments as lawyer, historian, gentleman, farmer and family man. The decor featured floral peacocks as a reminder of peafowl at his farm in Barretville, TN.
