Hundreds of Mid Southerners attended the Empty Bowls project event to raise funds to help fight local hunger. Artisans, educators and others around the Memphis area donated beautiful and unique handcrafted and hand-painted bowls that represented the theme of the event. Guests purchased the art and items to benefit this wonderful cause. Proceeds from this year's event will work to increase the serving capacities and nutritional offerings of local food pantries and soup kitchens.
