The Memphis Garden Club hosted a preview party April 12 under a moonlit sky at the Dixon Gallery & Gardens. The event kicked off the weekend of the Memphis Flower Show 2024: Rhythm & Hues, chaired by Kathryn Painter and Kaki Smith. Guests enjoyed music, food, and cocktails while viewing art, photography, floral design, horticulture, and botanical arts. Keynote speakers for the weekend, Mark D. Sikes, Thomas Lloyd and Bryan Huffman, mingled with the guests, and everyone enjoyed the beautiful works on display. The extraordinary flower show is held biennially and is one of only eight major flower shows sanctioned by the Garden Club of America. dixon.org
