Mighty Wurlitzer Organ Homecoming

The Orpheum Theatre

After over a year of undergoing a complete restoration in Chicago, the Orpheum’s Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ returned to Memphis. In conjunction with the Orpheum’s 92nd birthday, the theatre held a free concert on November 19 hosted by Orpheum President and CEO Brett Batterson. The evening featured local Historian and Organist Vincent Astor and Orpheum House Organist Tony Thomas playing the magnificent Wurlitzer.
