The Party on the Porch was held recently to benefit For the Kingdom Memphis. FTK is an urban oasis for Memphis kids, and they host summer camps in their historic location on Raleigh-Millington Road. The property was once owned by Stax Studio founder Jim Stewart. FTK summer camps offer inner-city children fun and challenging camping experiences in a safe, Christ-centered environment. Carnival Memphis was founded in 1931 to promote the commerce of the Mid-South, and continues that mission today. This year, the Children’s Charity Initiative will benefit The Neighborhood Christian Centers, Inc., Palmer Home for Children, and Porter-Leath.
