Savannah Jewell White Art Show
Yearning Horizons
Photos by Ken Hall
Yearning Horizons, the first solo show for Savannah Jewell White, was held downtown at The Medicine Factory. Friends and fans came by for the opening and by the end of the weeklong run, almost all the pieces shown were sold. White’s appealing colors and fluid lines graced canvas, paper, and wood panel pieces, some with traditional finish and some with epoxy, some framed and some not. The artworks were mainly inspired by travels to South Africa. White is an enthusiastic and avid traveler, the experiences fuel her imagination and flow into her paintbrush. All guests wore masks at the opening and we asked that couples and groups briefly take them off for photos.
