On December 1, UNICO Memphis held its Wine and Cheese Tasting in the theater at St. Benedict of Auburndale High School, featuring a concert by John Angotti. UNICO, which means unique or one of a kind in Italian, is the largest Italian American Service organization in the United States. The Acronym stands for Unity, Neighborliness, Integrity, Charity, Opportunity. The evening provided a wonderful opportunity for members to kick off the holiday season!

The Memphis Chapter is part of UNICO National, which was founded in 1922 and has been a member chapter since 1977, raising money for local charities that meet their mission objectives of heritage, culture, and education. unicomemphischapter.org.
