The Bluff City Fire and Ice Polar Bear Plunge and Chili Cook Off is certainly a unique event that benefits Special Olympics Greater Memphis. Hundreds of daring Memphians braved the elements dipping into the Mighty Mississippi. In addition to the “brrrrr” cold experience guests enjoyed the Chili Cook Off and festivities. Also, plungers dressed in their wackiest costume for a chance to win the Golden Plunger Award!
