OUR MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING MOMENT: I have the pleasure of working for White Door Events where every Saturday is our wedding day! There are a million moments from my wedding that I will never forget. One of the most memorable for me was finally getting to be the Bride and experience the magic that we see week-in and week-out come together into a night better than my best dreams!
HOW WE MET : Will and I met 11 years ago when we were both in the 8th grade. We had a mutual friend that had just transferred to my school, and she insisted that he and I meet after the big Briarcrest vs. ECS rival football game one Friday night. After his game winning touchdown, Will walked over to introduce himself, flashing the cutest proud smile! We talked for a while that night but nothing came of it. Things were quiet for a few years after that. The summer before my junior year of high school, I went to visit family in Knoxville. My youngest sister, as little sisters do, stole my cell phone & started to send “Hi” texts to people in my contact list. One of them happened to be Will. He responded, and I quickly apologized, but the conversation kept on. He asked me on our first date once I was home from the trip. Will knocked on my front door where my entire family was waiting to greet him – and he was instantly adored! I, on the other hand, was not yet impressed. We got in his car & played a game of flipping coins to see what direction we would take next – we ended up at a Russo’s for dinner & went bowling after. I still wasn’t sure about him, but my family convinced me to go on a second date. This one ended in roasting marshmallows over candlelight and hours of talking. I was hooked…and the rest is history!
