The Memphis Food & Wine Festival was a magnificent evening under the stars at the Memphis Botanic Garden on October 12. The premiere event featured 40 chefs, 200 wines, and Memphis music on the Live Garden stage. Guests enjoyed the incredible foods prepared by renowned chefs including local greats Wally Jo and Jose Gutierrez, plus numerous chefs from across the globe. Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits and numerous vintners were pouring the magnificent wines in signature Memphis Food & Wine Festival Riedel wine glasses. Most importantly, funds were raised for the FedExFamilyHouse, a home away from home for out-of-town families with children receiving treatment at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. At press time, Festival accounting was not yet complete, but the projected goal is to continue a six-figure donation. Kudos and congratulations for a superb 2019 installment of the Memphis Food & Wine Festival!
