Arrow Creative held an opening night shopping celebration which was both a fun event and an homage to the much beloved Memphis College of Art Holiday Bazaar. Works of art of all kinds were on display and for sale throughout the common areas as well as in the artists’ studio spaces. Arrow Creative on Philadelphia in Midtown is a tremendous resource for artists, aspiring artists of all ages, and shoppers. There are classes throughout the year for adults and summer camps for children. Recently, Arrow acquired equipment from the old MCA including potter’s wheels, printmaking machinery, and more to continue offering arts learning opportunities. The complex houses several artist’s studios and a retail area. Arrow Creative recently welcomed new executive director Elizabeth Lemmonds, and founder Abby Phillips remains on the board. arrowcreative.org
