The inaugural Healthier Memphis Gala was held March 23 at 409 S. Main to celebrate and support LifeDoc Health, whose mission is to build healthier communities by preventing diabetes and obesity through healthcare and research. Guests were treated to a special evening and unforgettable culinary experience hosted by Jose Gutierrez of River Oaks (and the organizer of the Memphis Food and Wine Festival.) Unique dishes from some of the best chefs in the city such as David Krog, Jimmy Gentry, Patrick Reilly, Ryan Trimm, Ana and Ignacio Gonzalez, Steven Leake, Emily LaForce, Michael Patrick, Andreas Kisler, Reny Alfonso, and Franck Oysel were served and wowed guests. lifedochealth.org
