On February 9, the Memphis Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity hosted its 11th annual “Literacy is Key Book and Author Event” luncheon at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis. This special and fun fundraiser welcomed authors J.T. Ellison, Tara M. Stringfellow and Jennifer Coburn. Guests were treated to a prologue party and an author presentation by these talented writers. Literacy is Key raised money for First Book Mid-South, which transforms the lives of children in need by making brand-new, high-quality books and resources affordable and available to the educators and kids who need them most. firstbook.org
