On September 21, MIFA hosted its fifth annual Our City, Our Story luncheon event at the Memphis Hilton. The sold-out event featured major social and political analyst David Brooks. A bi-weekly op-ed columnist for The New York Times and regular analyst on PBS NewsHour and NPR, Brooks has written several New York Times bestsellers including his most recent, The Second Mountain, The Quest for a Moral Life. This event was presented by MIFA in partnership with The Daily Memphian and Rhodes College, and the proceeds support MIFA’s programs for seniors and families. mifa.org
