Wedding planning started out as a breeze. Having been to so many weddings my vision was very clear. After securing all my favorite vendors and a fabulous wedding planner COVID graced us with her presence! The uncertainty of everything was very difficult but Ben and I were 100% certain that we did not want to postpone this next chapter of our lives. We decided very early on that our wedding date would stay the same even if the plans had to be adjusted. We took precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests. Annesdale was a great place to allow for social distancing. Even though face masks and social distancing were NOT what we had ever envisioned for our big day... with the help of my mom, our wedding planner, and an amazing team of vendors, it was far more spectacular than we could have ever imagined. Annesdale Mansion is a timeless and beautiful venue. It was the perfect backdrop for our Fall reception. There was a cool snap on our wedding day so fire pits, outdoor heaters, lounge seating, and cozy throws were great additions! We danced the night away in an open-air tent surrounded by our loved ones.
