Henri Poincare, a physicist, wrote: “ Astronomy is useful because it raises us above ourselves.” I can’t think of a better place to meet the person I spend the rest of my life with than MTSU’s Astronomy class in 2012. Daniel noticed us laughing at the same anecdotes by our instructor. He asked me to have dinner, and we dated until we became engaged on my birthday April 13, 2016. Ironically we will be married under the stars in the Courtyard of Old Waverly Golf Course October 7, 2017. We are blessed to celebrate our marriage at such a beautiful venue with our family and friends.
