The Memphian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is the latest addition to Overton Square, and the gorgeous site for our 4Memphis holiday fashion shoot. As a matter of fact, it was shot entirely on the 7th - and top - floor. It is a visual extravaganza beginning the moment you step off the elevator with antelope print carpet, oversized green leather wingback chairs, and black-and-white jungle themed wallpaper. The corner Junior Suite is stunning, complete with a balcony overlooking Cooper Street. But the Tiger and Peacock bar is the crowning jewel atop this dazzling hotel. The colors are sumptuous, and every nook has something beautiful to absorb. The spacious rooftop patio overlooks the hustle-and-bustle of the Square, and like Overton Square below, this is a destination lounge dedicated to celebrating the best of the Memphis way of life – the art, music, culture, and always soul. Tiger and Peacock is currently open Wednesday-Saturday for cocktails and dinner. Be sure to make a reservation and dress to impress!
