The first graduating class of Ridgeway High School held its 50th Reunion August 18-19. It had been 30 years since this group had been together and with more than 225 in attendance, the weekend was a huge success and one that many will never forget. Friday night was held at Memphis National Golf Club, and with many teachers in attendance the classmates took the opportunity to thank them personally for all they had done for them during their high school years. The following day, the group toured the school and reminisced about the experiences they had back in 1973. Saturday night was capped off with “Ridgeway Goes Italian” at the beautiful Lichterman Nature Center. The scrumptious dinner was catered by Coletta’s, and great dance music was provided by the Soul Shockers. It was a special weekend with old friendships rekindled and new friendships made!
