Tennis players and enthusiasts celebrated the grand opening of the new Leftwich Tennis Center in Memphis with Mayor Jim Strickland and Memphis Parks on November 11. The daytime festivities included remarks by Mayor Strickland and attendees enjoyed playing on the beautiful courts! Leftwich is a public-private partnership between the University of Memphis, the City of Memphis, Tennis Memphis, and a host of private donors including AutoZone and the Crews Family Foundation. The new Leftwich is deemed one of the nation’s premier public tennis centers and a grand addition to our city. Check it out! newleftwich.memphistn.gov
