The FedExFamilyHouse Gala@Home served as FedExFamilyHouse’s core annual fundraiser, and this year celebrated 10 years of providing service to over 220,000 family members from around the world. The event was converted from an in-person gala at The Peabody Hotel originally scheduled for April 9, 2020 to a virtual live event held on August 9, 2020, and raised over $880,000 through sponsorships, live and silent auctions and “Light Up the House” donations. Joyce Peterson and Ron Childers served as the event emcees, and over 3,000 viewed from facebook and 1,400 accessed the event through the website.
