Beautiful homes in the Central Gardens neighborhood welcomed visitors on a glorious Sunday afternoon in September for the 47th annual event. Classic architecture, lovely furnishings, and historic charm were in abundance. A section of Carr Avenue was closed to traffic, and guests enjoyed food trucks, libations, and the live music made for a festive atmosphere. Opera Memphis was also on hand to perform as part of the nationally recognized 30 Days of Opera. What a special tradition when all of Memphis can be “Midtowners” - at least for an afternoon! centralgardens.org
